Q: What Is A Chattergram?
A: Chattergrams are a unique and personal way to deliver a heartfelt message to friends, families, business associates, and anyone who is special to you. Imagine the impact of a cuddly, soft teddy bear or any of our other caressable plush friends embracing a personal message, recorded by you, especially for them! Renew friendships, galvanize business relations, and embrace loved ones both far and near.
Simply choose a plush from our carefully selected collection of adorable friends, and record your personal 20-second message (no software to download) on our website. If you don’t have a microphone, no problem, simply call our 24- hour automated phone system, record your message, and your orders complete. You may even choose to receive your Chattergram with a blank recording tag and record a message at your convenience. Whether your recipient is an acquaintance or a loved one, imagine how they’ll feel when they see their lovable new friend holding a uniquely designed credit card sized recording tag, and out comes your personal message in your voice. Unlike traditional gifts, a Chattergram will never melt or wilt away, as it provides a memorable keepsake for those who mean the most to you.
Q: I don’t have a microphone. Can I record a message?
A: When you get to the recording point of your order, you will have the options of either recording your message over our website or via telephone. You may also have your Chattergram sent with a blank recording tag, to be recorded at your convenience (no special hardware or software required).
Note: You may be surprised to find many new speakers have a microphone built in to them
Q: I have recorded my message on your website, but unable to hear it when I play it back?
A: If you’re unable to hear your message:
a) Check your Speakers and Microphone to insure they are properly connected.
b) Make sure you chose “Yes” when asked to accept the “SoftSync” security certificate? (If you declined you must change to “Yes”). You will need to clear out your cookies, or shut all windows and begin your order over again.
Q: Am I limited as to what I can record?
A: Your only limitation is the time of the message, which is 20 seconds. This may not sound long, but 85% of the messages we send out are under 15 seconds. The only other limitation is the exclusion of profanity. We reserve the right to refuse any message deemed to be profane.
Q: What if I don’t want to record a message at this time?
A: Upon placing your order, you will have the option of “not recording” a message at that time. Your Chattergram will be sent with a special blank recorder tag which can easily be used to record your message at any time (no special hardware or software required).
Q: Can I order either the plush toy or recording device individually?
A: Sorry, that’s not possible. The entire concept of a Chattergram is giving the gift of a warm cuddly plush holding a message with your words in your voice.
Q: Are the Chattergrams shipped in any decorative packaging?
A: Yes, all our Plush Teddies are shipped in tastefully decorated packaging to best reflect the theme of the occasion. We have an experienced design staff, which insures that when the recipient first opens your gift, their immediate impression will be one of pure delight.
Q: Can I order more then one Chattergram per order?
A: If sending the Chattergrams to the same address with the same message (you need not record more then one message), you may order as many Chattergrams as you like in one order, as well as combining multiple styles of plushes. If you would like us to ship the Chattergrams to more then one address, or if you require more then one unique voice message, we ask that you make separate orders.
Q: What are normal shipping times & charges?
A: Orders are processed within 24 hours of receipt, and shipped via USPS priority. For standard delivery please allow 2-4 days from date shipped. Express 1-day service is available at checkout. An extra charge applies, which you will be able to view before completing your order. Your order must be placed before 1PM EST for next day delivery.
